This diet consists of only vegan,  and often organic or ‘wild’, foods that have not been heated above 47°C in the belief that living foods provide living enzymes and are therefore more beneficial for nutrition. Rawists maintain that health benefits include raised energy levels, clearer skin and improved digestion.
